The UK government announced that it would officially recognize COVID-19 vaccines on the World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Use Listing (EUL), effective 4 a.m. on November 22, thereby adding China's Sinopharm and Sinovac products to its approved list of vaccines for inbound travelers.

The WHO granted emergency approval for the Sinopharm and Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines in May and June of 2021, respectively.
