A pledge to increase trade, sustainability and inclusiveness was the key outcome from a two-day meeting of ministers at the latest Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. The virtual meeting was chaired by New Zealand, where the major focus of APEC 2021 is the economic recovery from COVID-19, but there's also a willingness to tackle longer-term issues like climate change.
