Philippine Ambassador to China Jose Santiago Sta. Romana hailed the CIIE as a major platform to showcase and sell various products from his country. The diplomat said companies from the Philippines have brought a wider range of products and activities to the event, including fresh fruits and a cooking exhibition. He also said he hopes Chinese economy can be "a driver of growth" and pull together different economies in the region and around the world.
