U.S. firms' presence at 4th CIIE shows resilience of commercial ties

About 200 U.S. companies participated in the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) amid stringent COVID-19 containment measures. Some of them are in Shanghai for the first time, including General Mills, which brought its pet food brand Blue Buffalo to the Chinese market. The move by U.S. business community shows the resilience of commercial ties between China and the U.S., and that political attempts like tariffs to disrupt normal business operations seem unlikely to succeed.
