In less than 100 days, athletes from all over the world will be competing in different events in three disciplines – speed skating, short track speed skating and figure skating – at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in China.
Though they sound and look similar, speed skating and short track speed skating vary a lot in almost everything.
Though figure skating seems like nothing but dancing on ice, ice dancing has its distinguishing qualities compared with the other four events under this discipline.
