Founded at the end of 2018, Narat Band is from Xinyuan County, Ili, China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is made up of nine regular members from the Han and Kazakh ethnic groups. The band performs at the Narat scenic spot in Xinyuan County. The artists have been trying to combine different styles of music in their performance, with instruments from different ethnic groups and regions, to express their love for the Narat grassland and let people know about Narat and its culture. Reporter talks to members of the band for details of their unique experience, as well as understanding of inheritance and innovation of traditional culture.
