A man was killed, and an elderly woman was critically injured after being stabbed in Brentford of West London on Friday night local time, local media reported. 

A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 82-year-old woman was in a serious condition in hospital after she was attacked as she walked home from a friend's family, media reported.

The murder suspect has been arrested, and there is nothing to suggest the incident is linked to terrorism, local police said.
