Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter Sara Duterte-Carpio filed her candidacy for the vice presidency by way of substitution, the country's poll body said on Saturday.

She will be running alongside Ferdinand Marcos Junior. Activists have denounced the alliance, with protests held outside the Commission of Human Rights office in Manila.
