Seven civilians were killed by Sudanese security forces during a crackdown on Saturday's anti-coup protests, a Sudanese medics' union confirmed on Sunday. Protesters took to the streets in Sudan's capital Khartoum and other cities to demonstrate against the military takeover that occurred on October 25. According to the medics' union, 22 civilians have been killed since the coup.
