Al-Jazeera bureau chief released by Sudan authorities

Qatar's Al Jazeera TV has reported its Khartoum Bureau Chief Al-Musalami al-Kabbashi was released on Tuesday by Sudanese authorities.
The news channel had reported al-Kabbashi's detention by the Sudanese military on Sunday, one day after street protests against the army across Sudan had left at least six people dead.
