Two Sudanese protesters were shot dead at a Khartoum rally Wednesday and dozens more suffered bullet wounds, AFP reported, citing a doctors' union.
One of those killed was shot in the head and the other in the neck, it said, adding that "dozens of gunshot wounds" had been reported, some of them serious.
Telephone lines and internet access have been cut in Khartoum as hundreds of demonstrators rallied in Sudan's capital Wednesday in the latest protest.
