Over 500,000 S. Koreans take college exams as cases surge

South Korea has seen a record surge of nearly 4,000 new cases as it starts a strategy of living with COVID-19. Health authorities have warned against it if the current trend of infections continues. Meanwhile, more than half a million students have just sat for the high-stakes college entrance exams. At least 170 of the test-takers have either tested positive or require isolation.
