The British government says it intends to ban the Palestinian militant group Hamas as a terrorist organization. British Interior Minister, Priti Patel, says the country will no longer differentiate between Hamas's political and military wings. Hamas condemned the move, saying the UK is showing "absolute bias" towards Israel's occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
