Hungarian swimmer Katinka Hosszu posted on Instagram on Friday that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and will miss out International Swimming League competitions this weekend in the Netherlands.
The 32-year-old swimmer is a three-time Olympic gold medal winner. She has been inoculated for a second COVID-19 jab in April.
Hungary is grappling with the fourth wave of COVID-19 pandemic with an increase of over 10,000 confirmed cases each day.
