Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi movement said on Saturday it had fired 14 explosive-laden drones at several Saudi cities, including King Khaled airbase near Riyadh and the state oil firm Aramco facilities in Jeddah.

The Saudi-led coalition confirmed the attack in a statement and said they also intercepted two ballistic missiles.

The Houthi military spokesman said in a televised press conference that the group had also attacked military targets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Abha, Jizan and Najran.

The Saudi-led coalition said Saturday that more than 70 Houthis were killed in 15 air raids on sites in Marib and Al-Bayda over the past 24 hours.
