Beijing will make history as the first city in the world to host both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, as all elements are now in place for delivering a "successful" Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach said on Sunday.

When speaking at the 40th Olympic Council of Asia General Assembly in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Bach said Beijing 2022 will change the landscape of winter sports forever.
