The enterprises that support "Taiwan independence" or undermine cross-Strait ties will never be allowed to make money on the mainland, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said on Monday.

The Chinese mainland welcomes Taiwan enterprises to invest and develop on the mainland and will continue to protect their legitimate rights and interests in accordance with law, Zhu said.

Taiwan businesses and companies should distinguish right from wrong, stand firm, draw a clear line with "Taiwan independence" separatist forces, and take concrete actions to safeguard the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations, Zhu added.
