A cold wave has been battering many parts of China since Saturday. In some areas of Heilongjiang Province in the northeast and Zhejiang Province in the east, temperatures are expected to drop by 10 degrees Celsius. Heilongjiang saw heavy snowfall overnight, which has led to power outages, school suspensions and flight cancellations.
