Sean Ó Fearghail, Speaker of the Lower House, or "Ceann Comhairle" in Irish, of Ireland's parliament, tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, local authorities have revealed.
"Having received the results of his PCR test at the weekend, the Ceann Comhairle will continue to isolate at home until Monday 29th November in accordance with public health guidelines. The Ceann Comhairle will work from home during this period and will carry out some on-line engagements," the Irish Parliament said in an official statement.
