Sudan PM orders security for Thursday's demonstrations

Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok on Wednesday ordered that security be arranged for demonstrations planned to take place the following day, as well as the immediate launch of a procedure for releasing detainees, the prime minister's office said in a statement.
