The three-party Romanian coalition government led by former general Nicolae Ciuca took the oath of office on Thursday, soon after winning an overwhelming vote of confidence in Parliament.
The coalition's official installment ends a long period political instability, after the minority cabinet led by Florin Citu collapsed on October 5 following a parliamentary vote of no confidence.
"The political crisis is over, but the other crises aren't, nor have the problems disappeared," said President Klaus Iohannis after the members of the new government were sworn in at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace.
