Economist, Nicholas Economides, who is teaching at the New York University, said the expansionary fiscal policies during the coronavirus outbreak, went "out of hand" especially in the United States, and that the ongoing inflation could last a number of years. Economides also urged the U.S. government to cut spending in order to ease pressure on prices. Economides is an internationally recognized academic authority on network economics, electronic commerce and public policy.
