UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, called for an end to the violence in Solomon Islands, and urged dialogue and peaceful means to address differences, a spokesperson for the Secretary-General said in a statement on Friday.
The statement added, the Secretary-General has been following the violent protests in the Solomon Islands' capital of Honiara with concern.
Police said on Saturday, three people were found dead in a burnt-out building in Honiara after days of rioting reduced swathes of the city to smoldering ruins.
