Former Cambodian Prime Minister Prince Norodom Ranariddh died in France at 9:40 a.m. local time on Sunday, the Cambodian minister of information Khieu Kanharith said on his Facebook.
The prince died at 77, whose cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
He served as prime minister of Cambodian from 1993 to 1997.
