Magnitude-6.6 quake hits Izu Islands, Japan: JMA

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 jolted the Izu Islands, Japan on Monday, Japan Meteorological Agency said.

The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers. No tsunami warning has been issued, the agency said.

There's been no immediate report of any damage or casualties.
