The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation is underway in Dakar, Senegal. Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed the event via video link on Monday, stressing the importance of true multilateralism. President Xi also called for deepening cooperation and re-affirmed support for the continent's fight against COVID-19.
