Chinese President Xi Jinping extended congratulations to a meeting held by the United Nations on Monday to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. President Xi called the Palestinian cause a core issue in the Middle East and said the international community should provide more support for talks between Palestinians and Israelis based on the two-state solution.
