The Chinese mainland recorded 113 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, with 91 linked to local transmissions in Inner Mongolia and 22 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Wednesday.
A total of 14 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 451 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.
Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 98,824, with the death toll unchanged since January at 4,636.
The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:
Hong Kong: 12,436 (12,136 recoveries, 213 deaths)
Macao: 77 (77 recoveries)
Taiwan: 16,601 (13,742 recoveries, 848 deaths)
