Sumayyah Hosany is a doctor originally from the Republic of Mauritius in Africa. During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, she and her husband volunteered to help residents screen temperatures at highway tolls in Wenzhou, east China. Later, she also helped to raise funds and sent supplies to her own country. She believes that the world needs to fight the virus together.
