UN General Assembly adopts Olympic Truce for Beijing 2022

The United Nations General Assembly has adopted the Olympic Truce for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The resolution is meant to highlight the contribution of sports to promoting peace and solidarity. The truce will be observed from seven days before the games begin February Fourth until seven days after the end of the Paralympics.
