China-Vietnam Relations: Foreign ministers discuss bilateral ties, cooperation in Zhejiang

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has met with his Vietnamese counterpart, Bui Thanh Son, in East China's Zhejiang Province. They discussed areas of mutual concern, including sustainable development and cooperation in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, trade and economy. Last month, China and ASEAN announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership at a summit commemorating the 30th anniversary of dialogue relations. Wang said China is willing to work with Vietnam and other ASEAN countries to achieve higher quality of development of relations.
