Democracy isn't just trite slogans. It's about results.
The U.S. will host the "Summit for Democracy" on December 9 and 10, having already unilaterally decided who is eligible for attendance and who is not. However, democracy is not a patent owned by any single country, but rather a value shared by all mankind. Touting democracy is not simply a matter of trite slogans, but rather of results on the ground.
