Footage shows a wild lynx taking a rest after feasting on a Tibetan antelope in the Sanjiangyuan National Park, in northwest China's Qinghai Province.
A ranger captured the footage while patrolling around the source area of the Yangtze River in the Sanjiangyuan National Park. The lynx was seen taking a rest after its hearty meal in an area around the Yuzhu Peak of the eastern part of the Kunlun Mountains.
Lynx, which is under second-class national protection in China, feeds on mice, rabbits, wild boars and deer.
Sanjiangyuan National Park, one of the first national parks officially established in China, is home to the headwaters of the Yangtze, Yellow and Lancang rivers.
It is an important ecological safety barrier and germplasm bank of plateau organisms and an area of rich biodiversity.
