"Democracy is a relentless commitment of the CPC and the Chinese people," Huang Kunming, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remark at the opening ceremony of the International Forum on Democracy in Beijing. Huang also reiterated that the people's status as masters of the country is the essence of democracy.
