The U.S. can expect a firm response from China if it does not halt Xinjiang-related laws, which harm China's interests via political manipulation, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin responded on Thursday, as the U.S. House passed legislation banning Xinjiang imports.
China will take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese side, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Gao Feng said at a news conference on Thursday.
