Bangladeshi expert: Democratic values cannot survive without institutional support

"Building institution is mainly to carry out democratic values for long run. Without institutional support and its proper continuity, democratic values cannot survive," Washim Palash, researcher and guest faculty of Jahangirnagar University from Bangladesh, said on Friday at the second phase of the International Forum on Democracy.

"I do firmly believe that to practice and nursing the democratic values in every facets of our life we can build a much sustainable, tolerable and integrated society and world," he remarked.
