Christine is a 61-year-old American former special education teacher. In 2017, Christine broke her back accidentally and was almost paralyzed from the waist down. Christine's insurance provider denied her request to get transferred, and she was in extreme agony after not getting timely treatment. After she was discharged from hospital, what awaited her was tens of thousands of dollars in medical bills.
