South Korea reported another 7,022 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, which brought the total confirmed cases to 503,606, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA).

It has been three consecutive days since newly confirmed coronavirus cases toppled above 7,000. Friday is also the third highest daily case, after an all-time-high cases of 7,174 on Wednesday.
