December 10 marks Human Rights Day and the second and final day of the so-called "Summit for Democracy" hosted by the U.S. One of the focuses of this two-day event is promoting respect for human rights. However, the irony is the same. U.S. quite often shuts its eyes to its own human rights scars while insisting on discrediting others.
