A good agreement could be reached if the other side is serious about the removal of U.S. sanctions, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Saturday.

Raisi made the remarks in a meeting held in Tehran with the participation of ambassadors and envoys of Iran in the neighboring countries.

Raisi added: "Tehran is serious about the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action talks", which is currently being negotiated by EU officials and China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom and Iran.
