The Chinese mainland recorded 75 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, with 49 linked to local transmissions and 26 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Sunday.

A total of 20 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 474 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 99,679, with the death toll unchanged since January at 4,636.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 12,483 (12,165 recoveries, 213 deaths)

Macao: 77 (77 recoveries)

Taiwan: 16,731 (13,742 recoveries, 848 deaths)
