Scientists in China say ozone gas is an effective and safe way of disinfecting areas from the coronavirus. The result was found after a yearlong test in the northeastern port of Suifenhe in Heilongjiang Province by a team from Harbin Institute of Technology. Commonly used liquid disinfectants are easy to freeze under cold conditions. Ozone gas disinfection could be a way of preventing object-to-human transmission.
