Rebels from Ethiopia's war-hit Tigray region recaptured the town of Lalibela, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the neighboring Amhara region, Reuters reported on Sunday, citing witnesses, less than two weeks after government forces and their allies took control on December 1.
