China records a total of two Omicron cases, both imported

China's Guangzhou has reported a case of the new variant, this being the second Omicron case detected in the Chinese mainland. According to Guangzhou authorities, the infected person is a 67-year-old man, who entered China from overseas late November. The man has been placed under quarantine since then and is currently undergoing treatment.
