Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin via video link on Wednesday.

The two leaders will take stock of bilateral relations and cooperative outcomes over the past year, construct top-level plans for relations in 2022, and exchange views on major international and regional issues of common concern, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Monday.

The meeting will be the second virtual discussion between the two leaders this year.
