South Korea will limit the size of private gatherings across the country to four, and reinstate a 9 p.m. curfew for restaurants and cafés, Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum announced on Thursday.

The renewed restrictions will be in effect from Saturday until January 2, Kim said at a meeting of the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCH).
