1 dead, 3 injured in Kabul blast

A blast rocked the Baraki area of Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Saturday evening, killing one person and injuring three others, deputy to spokesman for the country's Interior Ministry, Mohammad Ezam said.

According to the official, a gas cylinder accidentally exploded in a car, causing casualties.

Eyewitnesses said that the blast took place close to the private Rana University in Baraki area of Police District 4 at 5:20 p.m. local time on Saturday.

It was the second blast in Kabul over the past two days.
