Pfizer: COVID-19 could be endemic by 2024

COVID-19 could become an endemic disease by 2024, American pharmaceutical firm Pfizer executives said. The company expects some regions to continue to see pandemic levels of cases over the next year or two, and other countries will transition to "endemic" with low, manageable caseloads during that same period.
