The Chinese mainland recorded 102 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 37 linked to local transmissions and 65 from overseas, data from the National Health Commission showed on Monday.

A total of 33 new asymptomatic cases were also recorded, and 511 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

Confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland now total 100,386, with the death toll remaining unchanged at 4,636 since January.

The latest tally of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region is as follows:

Hong Kong: 12,526 (12,184 recoveries, 213 deaths)

Macao: 77 (77 recoveries)

Taiwan: 16,805 (13,742 recoveries, 850 deaths)
