Japan's parliament approved the 2021 supplementary budget, including a 100,000 yen ($881) subsidy for minors under 18 and other measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The supplementary budget was approved with around 36 trillion yen ($317 billion), the largest supplementary budget in history.
